Is there a washer and dryer in the house?
Yes, all the homes whether condo or single family homes
have a fully equipped kitchen. This includes the washer and dryer, refrigerator,
gas or electric range, microwave, dishwasher and coffee maker.
Do we have to bring an iron?
No, there is an iron and ironing board in each home.
Do we have to bring a hairdryer?
No, a hairdryer is provided in each home. In the larger
homes, there may be two or even three.
How far is the house from the main
attractions?
We have several homes within 5/10 minutes, but the vast
majority are within 15 minutes of Disney property. All of the homes managed by
All Florida Villas are within 45 minutes of Disney.
Sea World is 10 minutes further and Universal Studios
is 20 minutes further, from most of the homes.
Is there a TV and
DVD in the
home?
Each home has at least one TV. Some of the homes have a
VCR. If this is not the case, we are able to provide one for rental upon
request.
Do we have to bring towels
and sheets?
All the homes are provided with sufficient linens for
the maximum number of people in the home. However, not all owners will provide
washcloths – it would, therefore, be my advice to bring your own.
Do the homes have
air-conditioning and heat?
In Florida’s sub-tropical climate, we would not survive
without air-conditioning. In the winter, however, our temperatures can drop
quite low; at these times, heat is also available in each of the homes.
Will my home have a BBQ?
A few of the homes do have a BBQ. However, once again
we are able to offer a rental for the duration of your stay.
Do I get maid service?
The home will be clean on your arrival. Should you wish
to have maid service, this would be available at a charge of $25.00 per day. The
service covers making of beds, cleaning the bathrooms and vacuuming through as
necessary. This can be arranged daily or to your specific request.
Is a laundry service
provided?
No. Each home has a washer and dryer, so washing of
linens etc will be possible throughout your vacation, as necessary.
Will the
swimming pool be fenced in?
Some of
the private pools have a safety fence – so
great care has to be taken not to leave young children unattended. Each of the
pools is covered by a large cage, which stops bugs etc flying at you in the warm
evenings, when you want to sit on the deck!
How large is the pool?
The smallest pool we have is 20 x 10 feet. The majority
of them are 30 x 15 ft. Some pools are heatable, at an extra charge.
Am I near a shopping mall?
Kissimmee is full of small shopping malls and outlet
stores. The large malls such as Florida Mall and the Belz Outlet Mall are within
40/60 minutes of all the homes.
Is there a grocery store
near my home?
All of the homes have a grocery store within 5/10
minutes of their doors.
Does the house have a garage?
Some are
only one car garage. If
you are visiting a condo or a townhouse, there will be at least one space per
home, sometimes two spaces.
